Vattenfall is now looking for a Public Affairs Consultant for the Public & Regulatory Affairs department in Berlin.

What can you expect?

Germany is one of Vattenfall's most important growth markets. Our Public & Regulatory Affairs Germany team advises the German business units on all energy policy issues. We maintain the relevant contacts with federal politicians, federal ministries, associations and NGOs. We work transparently, internationally and in flat hierarchies. The position is permanent.

Your main tasks:

• Monitoring and analysis of the energy policy and regulatory environment in Germany
• Stakeholder management of federal politics, federal ministries and associations
• Development of public affairs strategies and written positions
• Advising our German business units on regulatory issues
• Collaboration with the Media Relations Team Germany
• Collaboration with the Public & Regulatory Affairs teams from Scandinavia, UK, Netherlands, France and Brussels

Who are we looking for?

We are a team of political experts with our own specialist responsibilities who work closely together on all topics. We are looking for curious and committed team players who believe in the energy transition.

Your qualifications:

• Completed university degree in the fields of law, politics, public affairs or related disciplines 
• Several years of work in the Bundestag, federal ministries or political parties
• Relevant professional experience in the field of economic and energy policy
• Very good knowledge of German and English
