Mirion Technologies (Canberra) GmbH, with around 50 employees at our two locations in Germany (Rüsselsheim and Hamburg), is responsible for sales, project management and maintenance of our nuclear measurement technology products in Germany and German-speaking Switzerland. We work closely with the production plants and the other branches in Europe and North America.

For the northern sales region, we are looking for the next possible date:

Sales engineer in the field of measurement technology (m / f / d) - home office

Region Hamburg, Bremen, Oldenburg, Kiel, Flensburg, Lübeck, Schwerin, Rostock, Stralsund, Greifswald

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • You look after our existing customers technically and commercially on site in the north sales area and acquire new customers
  • You analyze customer requirements and develop technical solutions
  • You independently present our product portfolio to customers, at trade fairs and specialist conferences
  • You work closely with our customers, see them as partners and are the contact person from the first inquiry through the offer to delivery and after-sales support.
  • You support our sales administration in preparing offers and our order processing in processing orders
  • You process technically complex tenders
  • You maintain close contact with our internal specialist departments to coordinate day-to-day business

Requirements and expectations

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of physics or in another scientific or technical field, doctorate would be an advantage
  • Experience with radiation detectors, radiation protection or nuclear physics desirable, but not required
  • Team player with an open-minded personality who enjoys customer contact
  • Knowledge of written and spoken English for communication with our international plants and, if required, with our customers
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Resident within the sales area
  • High willingness to travel, at least 50%
