(Senior) Manager Global Innovation and Investment Incentives

Become a member of the Global Innovation and Investment Incentives team with a focus on R&D and innovation projects as a (senior) manager and use your work at Deloitte as a pioneer to the top. The team advises international and national companies of all sizes and supports them in the acquisition of funding - from the initiation and application to the assessment to strategic advice in R&D, innovation and investment projects.

We are looking for committed support for our locations Berlin and Hamburg .

• Advising our clients on the strategic direction of funding acquisition, structuring project ideas and comparing the planned projects with regard to possible funding instruments
• Support and accompaniment of clients during the application of national and EU projects with your scientific and technical expertise
• Support during the project implementation phase with effective consortium, risk and project management
• Independent acquisition of new clients or further development of existing ones
• Interdisciplinary advice together with our international colleagues in funding advice as well as our tax consultants, lawyers and management consultants

• Master's degree in economics, political science, engineering, law or a natural science subject and at least 5 years of professional experience in the funding environment (at a management consultancy, a project management company or in industry)
• Experience in structuring, applying for and implementing publicly funded R&D and innovation projects
• Great interest in technology and innovation, pronounced analytical thinking and abstraction ability
• Very good English and MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Enjoyment of working with clients and colleagues
• High commitment, flexibility and initiative
• Resilient network to research companies and institutions and / or to ministries and the European Commission
