for the clinic for neurosurgery in the Vivantes Klinikum Neukölln on June 1st, 2022.

The Vivantes Klinikum Neukölln is an academic teaching hospital of the Charité Universitätsmedizin in Berlin and a maximum care hospital with more than 1000 beds and 20 bed-keeping clinics.

The focus of the clinic is u. a. the neuro center, the neurovascular network Berlin-Brandenburg and the oncological center CCBN. The Clinic for Neurosurgery has the certified centers: Neuro-Oncological Center DKG, Neurovascular Network, Spine Specialty Center DWG, Skull Base Center. It currently supplies 35 beds and a large number of intensive care places in the interdisciplinary surgical intensive care unit. The focus is on vascular neurosurgery (in close cooperation with the Institute for Neuroradiology), neuro-oncology including skull base surgery, spinal surgery and neurotraumatology.
The application of microsurgical and minimally invasive as well as endoscopic techniques is standard, supported by intraoperative neuromonitoring and neuronavigation. In the implementation of the Vivantes network concept and centered specialized care, the clinic for neurosurgery will supply two other clinics of the Vivantes Group in the neurosurgical field as a center in the future.

• In addition to the specialist work: support in the establishment and further development of basic neurosurgical care at two other clinics in the Vivantes Group
• Promotion of the structural and content-related further development of the clinic
• Close and trusting communication with resident referring physicians and cooperating internal and external clinics
• Participation in the clinic's on-call duty and on-call duty
• Participation in internal and external training courses
• Quality management measures and support for quality management in the clinic

• Specialist in neurosurgery with many years of surgical experience - preferably with a doctorate
• safe and comprehensive mastery of the operative spectrum of neurosurgery, especially in the microsurgical field and neurotraumatology
• particular expertise in a key area of neurosurgery - e.g. E.g. peripheral nerve surgery, neurooncology
• the intention to acquire an additional qualification in intensive care medicine is an advantage
• Experience in personnel management and organization
