As a specialist facility with around 300 employees, the kbo Children's Center in Munich has been dedicated to the diagnosis and therapy of children and adolescents with developmental disorders and disabilities for 50 years. The children's center consists of a large social pediatric center and a specialist clinic for social pediatrics and developmental rehabilitation with 45 beds.

We're looking for
Speech therapist / speech therapist (f / m / d)

We are a team of six dynamic, motivated and friendly speech therapists. As part of the outpatient clinic, we offer standardized language diagnostics taking into account the overall development and individual observation of the communicative skills of our little patients. Extensive advice and guidance to parents regarding language-promoting measures and possible therapeutic approaches is another focus here.
Our inpatient offer includes intensive speech therapy with the accompanying persons closely involved in the therapeutic work. The focus of treatment is articulation therapy according to VEDiT® for severe articulation disorders (e.g. verbal developmental dyspraxia, phonological disorder) as well as therapy for communication disorders with the aid of assisted communication (e.g. electronic communication devices, picture card systems, spoken language-supporting signs).

The position is to be filled as soon as possible.

• Speech therapy diagnostics of speech and speech disorders, orofacial and myofunctional disorders, voice and flow disorders, rhinophonia
• Diagnostics and parent support for children with a cochlear implant and children with auditory processing and perception disorders
• Articulation therapy according to VEDiT® as well as therapy for communication disorders with the help of supported communication - previous experience is desirable, but is not required
• Writing detailed speech therapy reports, administrative tasks and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings

• Completed vocational training / completed studies as a speech therapist / speech therapist
• Professional experience as a speech therapist * desirable
• Enjoying diagnostic investigations and writing reports
• High level of commitment in learning new therapy and diagnostic content
