The Economic Council of the CDU e.V. is a nationally organized entrepreneurial professional association with over 12,400 members from all areas of the German economy. Our members and guests include important business personalities, board members and managing directors from all over Germany and Europe, members of the state parliaments and the German Bundestag as well as representatives from ministries, science and associations.
We are looking for a

Country Manager (m / f / d)
Tasks:
- Creation and support of the dialogue between entrepreneurial economy, state government and administration, as well as with other social groups at state level
- Observation of the work of parliament and government work and their political analysis and commentary
- Conception, preparation, implementation and follow-up of economic and socio-political conferences, discussion groups and specialist commissions
- Organization of press and public relations work, in particular the preparation of press releases, holding press conferences and talks, maintaining contacts with press representatives
- Creation of documentation and short analyzes on current economic and socio-political issues in Rhineland Palatinate / Saarland from the point of view of the entrepreneurial economy
- Active member support and recruitment, conception and further development of corresponding mechanisms
- Management of employees who are active in member recruitment
- Coordination, content-related support and support of the regional association and section work.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed university degree in economics or political science
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a professional association, party or similar organization
- Outstanding leadership and performance skills
- Networking in the political and entrepreneurial field
- Independent, structured and result-oriented way of working
- Identification with the association's interests and objectives
- Sociability and the ability to get other people excited about us
- Competent and professional appearance
- Perfect handling of common Office applications including database experience (ideally Lotus Notes or comparable)
- Commitment, flexibility in terms of time and ability to work in a team
- Excellent knowledge of German and excellent communication skills.
