Our Business Area Electrification (EE) designs and manufactures battery systems as well as electric and fuel-powered thermal solutions. The Business Unit also includes our aftermarket Customized & Lifecycle Solutions (EC), delivering products and solutions for nearly all on-/off-highway and shore vehicles with a strong focus on thermal and energy management.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Quality ownership for a defined scope of purchased parts in the e-mobility portfolio
  • Complaint management with suppliers (root-cause analysis, immediate containment, claims handling, verification of corrective actions)
  • Creation of inspection plans and execution of component inspections during incoming goods checks or in case of complaints (incl. coordination with Lab and Metrology if required)
  • Quality planning and sampling of purchased parts within change management
  • Supplier audits according to VDA 6.3 and upkeep of internal quality systems (e.g., SAP, supplier portal)

Requirements and expectations

  • Completed technical degree or equivalent qualification (e.g., Mechanical Engineering Technician (f/m/x))
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 requirements (certification is an advantage)
  • Strong command of quality tools (APQP, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, MSA, etc.)
  • Proficiency in German and English
  • Responsible, motivated, and team-oriented work style with excellent technical understanding
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, domestically and internationally
