Where your expertise is needed:

People Management

• You will lead a team of up to 4 UX/UI designers working in cross-functional teams, lead your team disciplinary and professionally and be heavily involved in hiring new employees.
• You are the interface and communication partner between our Head of Design and the designers.
• You take on feedback discussions and are a mentor for your team. Together you work on common goals.

​​​​​​​Performance Management

• You will help the team to continuously learn and grow in order to constantly optimize "Homeday Design".
• You promote and support the sharing of knowledge and "best practices" through appropriate rituals (e.g. design reviews etc.).
• You promote quality management and strive for continuous improvement.
• You are always a strong sparring partner for the Head of Design and other team leads and work together with us to improve our design vision and processes.
• As a partner for team leads from other disciplines, you represent design and the needs of our customers with a strong voice and assertiveness.
• You lead the designers on their way and are responsible for consistent UI and continuous improvement of the user experience.
• You stand for a user-oriented design and bring this into the organization.
• You are strongly networked within our squads.

Who we are looking for:

• Experience- You have at least 5-6 years of experience as a UX or product designer and (of that) 1-2 years of experience as a team leader, ideally in a startup or young agile environment.
• Industry knowledge - You are confident in the common design methods, can apply them pragmatically and instruct others in them.
• Communication- You have strong communication skills and express yourself precisely and eloquently.
• English, please- You are fluent in German and English.
• Team - You want to work with a motivated team and advance the design vision at Homeday.
