We're looking for one
Traffic planner (m / f / d) / mobility manager (m / f / d)
as a Bachelor / Master in the fields of transport engineering, regional or urban planning, geography, spatial planning, civil engineering or a comparable field of study with a focus on bicycle / transport planning
full-time as soon as possible.
The position is initially limited to a period of two years.
Tasks:
- Development and support of concepts for bike / traffic control
- Regional mobility management and local climate protection
- Developing strategies to promote cycling
- Participation in the planning and coordination of local public transport
- Preparation, tendering and supervision of road construction sites, with a focus on the construction of cycle paths
- Construction management and support for engineering and planning offices as well as construction companies
- Development and updating of road space planning (pedestrians, cyclists, public transport, motor vehicle traffic)
- Organization, monitoring and management of traffic surveys
- Preparation of draft resolutions for the political bodies and presentation of results
- Public relations work in cooperation with the municipal press office
In the narrower sense:
- Implementation of the municipal development plan and the climate protection action plan in the transport sector
- Inclusion of the entire mobility complex in the Climate Action Plan
- Fulfillment of the admission criteria for membership in the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft fahrradfreundliche Kommune in Bayern (AGFK) e.V."
- Receipt of the certificate "Bicycle-friendly municipality in Bavaria"
- Creation of a bicycle traffic concept
- Creation of an integrated communal mobility concept to promote sustainable and needs-based mobility
- Tenders in the context of traffic management
- Actor and citizen participation as well as public events and presentations of interim results
Requirements:
- Completed university degree in the above-mentioned subjects at a (technical) university or an equivalent bachelor's degree (B.Eng., B.Sc.) or comparable specialist specialization with a focus on transport planning
- Expertise in the implementation of the tasks described and in related subject areas
- Initiative and enthusiasm to research new approaches and develop ideas
- Commitment, teamwork and negotiation skills
- Experience in project work and in building networks
- A resilient / stress-resistant and communicative personality
- Goal-oriented and independent way of working as well as organizational skills
- Enjoyment and skill in dealing with people
- Knowledge of the relevant guidelines and standards for cycle path construction
- General and subject-specific IT user knowledge
