In 2022, we inaugurated the new University Emergency Center with patient admission, stroke unit, and helicopter landing pad at Campus Schillingallee.
Our research yields globally recognized results, driven by nearly 1,000 physicians, scientists, and students collaborating on over 500 projects. Focus areas include HealthTechMedicine, Biomedical Engineering & Biomaterials, Neurosciences, and Oncology—backed by national and international consortia.
In teaching, we combine small-group, practice-oriented instruction with innovative courses like Medical Biotechnology. As we centralize our facilities into state-of-the-art buildings (Perioperative Center, Neurology Clinic) and modernized clinics (Anatomy, ENT), students benefit from world-class infrastructure.
