On the Minden Сampus of the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, around 1,600 students are enrolled in eleven courses ranging from construction, computer science and engineering to health and nursing. In addition to the breadth of content, various study models such as practice-integrated, cooperative or dual studies are offered.
In addition to the classic full-time courses, civil engineering is offered as a cooperative variant, which is preceded by part of the manual training. In the practice-integrated degree courses in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and industrial engineering, practical phases in the company over eleven weeks alternate with theoretical phases at the university over twelve weeks. In the dual bachelor's degree in health and nursing, students acquire both a bachelor's degree and a professional training course in eight semesters.
