The Department of Applied Sciences and Mechatronics is the second largest department at the Munich University of Applied Sciences. The department offers six undergraduate courses of study, four graduate courses of study and one course of bi-national undergraduate and graduate study. In addition, cooperative doctoral programs are also offered.

The Faculty of Business Administration offers a variety of business administration bachelor's and master's degrees: undergraduate, consecutive and advanced training. Around 1,000 students are studying at the Department. They are taught by 39 full-time professors and a varying number of lecturers. The department collaborates with companies and conducts applied research projects to ensure that the teaching content is up-to-date and relevant to practice.
