With around 1,300 students at the moment, we are a growing department that impresses with its diverse range of subjects, its excellent atmosphere between students, teachers and employees, but especially with its high level of expertise in teaching and research.

The department of ‘Engineering’ combines a profound engineering education with interdisciplinary and application-oriented research and development. Our bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in both electrical engineering and mechanical engineering are dedicated to topics such as mobility of the future, digitalisation of living and working areas or technology in modern medicine.
