The University of Applied Sciences Zwickau is based in the automotive and Robert Schumann city of Zwickau. Founded in 1897 as engineering school, it was re-founded as an University of Applied Sciences in 1992, which was expanded to include the Schneeberg, Reichenbach and Markneukirchen locations.

With our disciplinary and cultural diversity, we develop solutions for the future issues of the megatrend mobility and make substantial contributions to solving economic and social challenges. The interaction between people and technology is the core of our interdisciplinary work. Under our motto "WHZ - University of Mobility", our various scientific disciplines merge and enter into a close dialogue with one another beyond the original subject boundaries.
