FDSV: what the mark means

FDSV — Fachverband Deutscher Sprachschulen und Sprachreise-Veranstalter

FDSV (Fachverband Deutscher Sprachschulen und Sprachreise-Veranstalter e.V.) is the German trade association of language schools and language-travel operators, founded in 1977 and based in Berlin. Members commit to its quality guidelines based on the European language-travel standard DIN EN 14804. The seal "FDSV-geprüfte Qualität" is awarded only after checks by an independent advisory board.

Membership is taken from the organisation's open lists and the schools' documents; if a school loses it, we remove the mark when we update the data.

Other networks and marks

Two different things: networks and quality labels check how a school teaches, exam centres may hold an exam on site.

Not sure which school suits you?

A mark is one of the signs of a good school, not a guarantee of the result. We will compare your level, deadline and budget and suggest schools that fit.
