The school only accepts applicants with a university entrance qualification recognised in Germany (a school certificate or diploma that gives access to a German university). Before we send your application to the school, we check your eligibility and that your documents are in order.
A lesson (UE, Unterrichtseinheit) lasts 45 minutes.

Leisure and excursions
Every month the school publishes a cultural programme: single events with registration in the office or by e-mail — for example a German conversation evening (Stammtisch) with the residents of a student hall. Current and former course participants and their friends can join; each event has its own price, the conversation evening is free.

Starts can be booked from 2 weeks ahead — that is the time it takes to book the place and arrive.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancellation in writing at the latest 5 working days before the start: the course fee is refunded minus the €60 registration fee. Later and during the course no cancellation is possible.
Accommodation
The school has no accommodation of its own. It helps for free: a list of housing options in Munich and rooms from private landlords for the time of the course.

Deutschkurse bei der Universität München — German courses at the Munich universities. Since 1952 the non-profit association (e.V.) has prepared international students for university: it runs preparatory and accompanying courses on behalf of LMU and holds the exams needed for admission.
