A cultural programme every week — get-togethers, picnics, museums — is included in the service fee; entrance and travel are extra. In summer 2–3 events a week, otherwise a Stammtisch at least twice a month.
A single room with hosts, shared bathroom and kitchen. Only from 18. A change of accommodation costs €50.

For the visa an address for the whole stay matters. If you look for housing yourself, allow two weeks for it before applying at the consulate.
Starts can be booked from 2 weeks ahead — that is the time it takes to book the place and arrive.
A course longer than 3 months can be ended with 6 weeks' notice after the third month: you pay the lessons held and 10% of the rest. Payment is due 4 weeks before the start. At least 5 people per group.
The map is loaded from Google only after your click — no data goes to Google before that.
TANDEM Language Schools offers German and Spanish courses across three countries, blending modern communicative methods with cultural immersion in small, independent non-profit schools.
Photos come from the institution (with its permission), from students and from open sources. If a photo violates your rights, tell us and we will remove it: [email protected].
We work with this school under an agreement and book places directly. You sign the tuition contract with the school and pay the course to the school, by its own invoice. We do not accept money for tuition.
If someone asks you to pay for the course to anyone other than the school, it is not us. The payment details are always in the school's invoice.
A language course is step 5: language. It comes after the audit and the documents but before the exam and the application. Plan it backwards from your application date.
In 30 minutes we will compare your level, your application date and your budget. If this course is more than you need, or won't get you to the required level in time, we will say so and suggest an alternative.
