Business Administration and Economics, B.Sc.

Bachelor Business Administration and Economics (BWL/VWL)

There is hardly an organisation in the world that does not need well-trained staff capable of understanding and dealing with matters related to business and economics. The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics is a generalist programme that enables graduates to identify, analyse and solve business and economic problems independently using scientific methods. The degree programme imparts specialist and methodological knowledge, enabling its students to make informed business decisions and includes current practical challenges for the business world, such as globalisation, digitalisation and big data. The faculty has many and close contacts to companies as well as to national and international organisations. This opens up the opportunity to make real-life problems part of your academic training, for instance by writing your bachelor's dissertation on a practical problem. Finally, the subject-specific language programmes offered in conjunction with the degree programme give you an edge when working in international enterprises and organisations.
