Will I get in
The programme has an admission restriction: the average grade of your certificate, converted to the German scale, decides. The cut-off changes every year — last year's value shows the order of magnitude, not a promise.
How the selection works and how strong the competition is — we go through it against your certificate when we select programmes for you.

In the fourth semester, students complete the programme with their Master's thesis.
What you study
In the course “International Economics & Public Policy” (MA IEPP), global interdependencies of social subsystems are to be analyzed for their side effects for the realization of political programs. Particular emphasis is placed on the knowledge and analysis of the interactions between politics and economics in an international context. The IEPP master’s course focuses on the international challenges of economic, financial and environmental policy; it sensitizes to global problems and trouble spots, especially in Europe and Asia. The English-language course pursues the central idea of asking about the possibilities of effective and legitimate governance and business in the 21st century, taking into account political-economic interdependencies. Through the intensive treatment of theoretical concepts and practical fields of application from selected political science sub-areas as well as the structure that integrates economics, the students are given the opportunity to develop specific competence and specialization profiles.
