New Media Design, M.A.
Our society is becoming increasingly mobile: concepts like "space" and "distance" are undergoing a fundamental transformation thanks to digital media. Today, there is an entire industry dedicated to the communication and production of information, brands, and experiences in media spaces. The University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) teaches you the skills to transform communication in virtual and physical spaces into inspiring and lasting experiences. In the Master's program in New Media Design, you will learn to analyze and locate spatial, moving, and non-linear forms of expression, and to apply them to your own spatial concepts. With their in-depth media competence, our graduates are able to develop complex and advanced design and technological solutions for multidisciplinary challenges.

Admission goes through an aptitude assessment: the university checks how well the subjects, credits and grades of your previous education fit the programme. There is no fixed cut-off — the assessment is comparative.
What you study
The first two semesters consist of interdisciplinary project studies, the theory of various media, and process-oriented courses. You will go through the typical phases of a project: from research, planning, and conception to implementation, documentation, and presentation.
