Visual Computing, B.Sc.
Visual Computing is a special field of application-oriented computer science that is becoming increasingly important in today's society. It includes all areas in which images are digitally generated, analyzed, modified and processed. In addition to the fundamentals of mathematics and computer science, the students receive in-depth knowledge in the areas of computer graphics, computer vision, artificial intelligence and the subject of human-machine interaction. The professors maintain intensive practical contacts so that the students in their bachelor thesis can work on current practical issues at the end of their studies.

The full curriculum and the programme's parameters are part of programme selection: we compare them with your profile.
Pick programmesCareer
Graduates of the Visual Computing course are well versed in dealing with information technology, especially in the field of image-generating and image-processing systems. Against the background of the increasing visual digitization of our society, the development of new forms of media and the growing potential of imaging processes in industry, medicine and artificial intelligence, there are excellent and varied fields of work. Numerous industries are of particular interest to graduates: automotive industry, medical technology, new media, software industry and games industry. Large and medium-sized companies as well as young and innovative companies come into question as possible employers.

How to apply
You can submit the application yourself or with our help — the university decides on admission in both cases.
Applications go through the university's portal or uni-assist. Typical mistakes:
- ×incorrectly made certified copies and translations
- ×a wrong set of documents
- ×the application submitted the wrong way
- ×errors or gaps in the application form
- ×the application submitted at the wrong time — too early or too late
An incomplete or incorrectly prepared application is excluded from the selection — it can no longer be corrected after the deadline.
StudyInFocus does not represent the university and does not influence the admission decision. We do not sell study places and do not guarantee admission — this is a service for preparing and submitting documents on the applicant's side.
If your level is not enough yet
The two most common stoppers are a language level below the requirement and a certificate without direct admission. Both can be solved, but they take months — plan them now, not after a rejection.
