The undergraduate subject of musicology provides basic scientific and practical knowledge in musicology, historical musicology, ethnomusicology, applied music theory and musicological methods and leads to a first professional university degree. The course is partly offered in the form of combined bachelor's degree courses. Musicology can also be studied as part of teacher training courses.
