The targeted storage and evaluation of this data offer great value creation potential for companies. Already today, anonymised data analyses are used to treat serious diseases such as cancer more accurately and to provide people with better, personalised chances of recovery. This requires appropriate data sets which can be made accessible for evaluation for the benefit of the general public and which can be evaluated by new analysis methods such as the rapidly developing Data Sciences.
