The Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and the Emden/Leer University of Applied Sciences offer the international Bachelor's program in Engineering Physics to bridge the gap between traditional physics and engineering education. Since 1998, students have been trained here who, with a comprehensive foundation in mathematics and natural sciences combined with application-oriented engineering, are able to understand and further develop modern technologies. In the "Laboratory Projects," teams work on practical tasks. Many students complete their thesis in a technology-oriented company or an external research institute.
