Faculty of Media
There is hardly a university in Germany that should attach greater importance to the scientific and artistic examination of the media. At the Faculty of Media, established in 1996, humanities scholars and economists, computer scientists and natural scientists meet. Together they take account of the growing importance of the media. The faculty thus practices the philosophy of the entire university on a small scale: Networked thinking and a view beyond the disciplines are in the foreground.
