The Faculty of Architecture and Design offers the best study conditions and comprehensive training as an architect and communication designer with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees. The newly designed, internationally oriented Bachelor and Master courses as well as the interdisciplinary cooperation of the courses architecture and communication design in the area of communication in space represent special qualities within the university landscape. The most modern technical equipment and small group sizes contribute to the success of the course. The Faculty of Architecture and Design is actively involved in university-wide research projects, including with contributions on the subject of energy efficiency and sustainability. The Konstanz location, located in the charming Lake Constance region with close proximity to Switzerland and Austria, demands and promotes responsible thinking across borders.
