Faculty of Education
We are pleased that you are interested in studying at our institution, want to find out more about our research or would like to know which institutes and professorships make up the Leipzig Faculty of Education.
Following the university principle "teaching through research", the work at the professorships of the faculty is determined by three guiding principles: professionalization, competence development and internationalization. This is supported, among other things, by numerous international research contacts, international student and lecturer exchanges and innovative courses.
The faculty is responsible for the educational content as a connecting element of all teacher training courses as well as for the special educational subjects and the majority of primary school didactics.
Our range of courses also includes a master's degree in talent research and competence development.

What the faculty's programmes require
The university-wide requirements are complemented by the faculty's own — they are missed most often, because the university page does not list them.
For 1 German-taught programme: DSH, TestDaF or telc C1 Hochschule — before you apply, not after.
