Department of Economics
As the only university of applied sciences in business administration in the northern part of Saxony-Anhalt, the business faculty attaches particular importance to the high-quality and innovative academic education of its students. Both the very good regional networking with commercial companies in the Altmark and the national and international relationships of our teachers play an important role. The top position in the CHE ranking 2014/15 for the practical orientation in the business administration course is an expression of our high appreciation of practical problems in a rapidly changing, networked economic landscape. With undergraduate and dual courses, with academic further education offers, applied research projects and networking events, the business faculty offers a wide range of study and cooperation opportunities.
