About the university
PERFECT MIX OF PRACTICE AND THEORY
Our success is based on close cooperation with the regional economy. Professors from practice, practical projects through cooperation with the economy and joint studies are the main focus of the university.
LIVED INTERNATIONALITY
Would you like to gain international experience as a student? Are you planning a guest stay at HNU as a professor from partner universities? We offer numerous opportunities to really live internationality.
ACTING IN PARTNERSHIP
… is leading for and within HNU – in the cooperation with sponsors and supporters from the economy and public institutions as well as within the staff. More and more international partnerships with other universities are emerging on all continents and every year we welcome more foreign students to HNU.
Faculties
The faculty determines the campus, the language of its programmes and the admission committee that evaluates your grades. Requirements can differ between faculties of the same university.
Studienkolleg
If your school certificate does not give direct admission, you first go to a Studienkolleg and pass the Feststellungsprüfung — it is recognised by every university. The colleges listed here are this university's partners.

Campuses
About the campuses in detail →A programme is tied to a campus — when looking for housing, go by the campus, not by the university's main address.
Studying in Neu-Ulm: housing, transport, costs →If you don't meet the requirements yet
Two typical stops: a school certificate without direct admission and German below the required level. Both can be solved within a year, but plan them before you apply, not after a rejection.
