Pre-bachelor
University preparatory programmes
Foundation, Freshman and propaedeutic courses that German universities run themselves. Some replace a Studienkolleg, others are a bridge for those who already have direct access. What the certificate gives is stated on each course page: often it is accepted only by the university itself.

A Studienkolleg ends with the FSP, which every university accepts within the course's field. A university's own programme is often accepted only by that university — compare before you choose.
