The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Media and Computer Science - Faculty EMI for short - offers study programs and conducts applied research and development in the fields of electrical engineering and information technology, geoinformatics and land management, industrial informatics, media informatics as well as media technology and media production.
In six bachelor's and three master's courses, our students prepare for demanding technical professions in current future fields. The study conditions at our faculty are characterized by small study groups, close contact between students and lecturers and equipment at the highest technical level. Most of our courses can also be studied "dual", in connection with an apprenticeship. In addition to teaching, the professors of the EMI Faculty carry out numerous research and development projects in cooperation with other universities and research institutions, but above all with industrial partners from the region and beyond.
