Our students develop and design the cities of the future. We are one of the largest facilities that offers degree courses in planning and building within the Rhine-Main region, and we offer our students broad undergraduate training, as well as specific training in bachelor and master programs.

Teaching not only takes place within a lecture hall, but also in a lab and in application-oriented projects.

Our research topics include a great number of different aspects such as biotechnology, nanotechnology, E-business, network security, and cloud computing.

Solid and trusting partnerships with politics and economy support our goal of practice-oriented training. Innovations develop in the frame of our research projects in collaborations with the economy, politics and administration. This way they can be optimally implemented and are accessible to the interested public.

With extensive research activities, as well as through our international contacts and cooperation, we define the status of the research and shape the development of society – regionally and internationally.
Our students are experts in theory and practice and have many different job prospects ahead of them.
