Mechanical engineering and process engineering have changed all areas of life. Our engineers develop machines, apparatuses, devices and entire systems that are used in all areas. Due to the growing complexity of these systems, the demands placed on our graduates have risen steadily in recent years. Increasingly, interdisciplinary thinking and the willingness to constantly expand on acquired knowledge are part of the job description. You will be intensely prepared for the challenges of working life in the different study programs of the faculty.
In addition to the discipline-specific courses of Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering, the department offers a number of interdisciplinary courses in cooperation with other departments of our TU.
In addition, you can enroll for one of the three Franco-German Double Degree Programs.
The numerous contacts between professors and foreign universities offer a variety of opportunities to complete a part of their studies abroad.
