Key facts about master's admission

Who it's for

Bachelor's graduates and students in their final year.

How much it costs

€2,790 in instalments — 4 payments, starting with €590. Or €2,390 in one payment. As separate services — from €4,335.

When to start

Well in advance: master's deadlines run from 01.09 of the previous year to 15.07. The earlier you start, the wider the choice of programmes and the better your prospects.

What you need to apply

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or the final year of study, the required credits and grade average. German usually C1 or English B2–C1.

What's included

16 steps of our method: choosing your direction, strategy and selection that take your credits into account and calculate them, up to 5 applications with credit transfer and recognition forms, visa, housing and a curator until the residence permit.

What you pay separately

uni-assist, university and consulate fees, the semester contribution, translations and certifications, the amount in the blocked account and tuition fees, if any.

Credits and recognition

We check your credits before you apply, not after a rejection

For a master's, universities look at your curriculum: how many credits you have in the relevant subjects and whether your bachelor's fits. In the audit and during selection we calculate your credits against each programme's requirements, and for your applications we prepare credit transfer and recognition forms.

Master's deadlines start in September of the previous year — so it's best to start early.

Timing and payments

When are you applying?

Studies begin in autumn — the winter semester — or in spring — the summer semester. The application deadlines for this programme are shown under each option. The earlier you start, the wider the choice of programmes and the better your prospects.

Autumn 2026 – summer 2027 — for the winter semester · Master's

Application deadlines: 01.09.2026 to 15.07.2027, depending on the university. Studies from autumn 2027; ≈ 9 months to the last deadline.

Applications are already open — for some programmes the deadline is soon. The sooner we start, the more programmes we can apply to and the wider your choice.
When the contract price changes

The price is fixed on the day you sign the contract and doesn't change afterwards. We count from the last deadline of the intake — 15.07.2027: with 12 months or more to go, there is a grant; with less than 6 months, the late price applies and upfront payment only; with less than 3 months, we no longer start the programme for this intake.

Now, until 15.01.2027 — €2,790 in instalments or €2,390 upfrontfrom 15.01.2027 — €3,350 — upfront payment onlyfrom 15.04.2027 — we don't start the programme for this intake

  3. by 01.07.2027

  1. On signing
    €2,390
the whole programme up to the residence permit
instead of €2,790 in instalments — you save €400 (14%)

For comparison, in instalments: €590 → €800 → €800 → €600 = €2,790

Total upfront: €2,390in instalments it would be €2,790

If a payment's due date has already passed when you sign the contract, it is added to the payment on signing. We calculate the dates from the last deadline of the intake; the exact deadlines depend on your programmes.

Requirements

What you need by the time you apply

These are the requirements at the time of application, not at the start. It's best to start 12–24 months ahead: language, selection and documents take time.

Wherever you have a gap, the matching step of the programme will help.

Can I apply before I get my degree?

Yes, in your final year of study. We'll put the documents required at the time of application into the register of requirements for each programme.

How is the first step different from the bachelor's?

There are no tests: your bachelor's largely sets the direction. In the interview we clarify the specialisation and your career goal, and in the audit and selection we take your credits into account and calculate them.

What are credit transfer and recognition forms?

Universities check which credits from your bachelor's count towards the programme's requirements. We calculate the credits during selection and prepare the credit transfer and recognition forms for your applications.

When should I apply for a master's?

Much earlier than for a bachelor's: deadlines run from 01.09 of the previous year to 15.07. The earlier you start, the wider the choice of programmes.

Why a programme rather than separate services?

As separate services, the same steps with 18 months of curator support cost from €4,335: «Start» €847, Express €1,497, Relocation €897, enrolment €197 and curator support €897. And that's the minimum: the programme includes the visa, a repeat application, re-selection of programmes and a curator for the whole period — at no extra cost, plus the guarantee year¹.

What if I don't get in?

The guarantee year¹ applies: a repeat support cycle with no extra charge for our services, under the terms of the contract. This is not a guarantee of admission — the university makes the decision. If you need an admission guarantee with a refund, that's a separate product, Guarantee+, through partner private universities.

I don't know exactly when to apply yet. Is that a problem?

No. In the first steps, while working on the strategy, we'll decide for certain, and if needed we'll discuss moving to a later semester. The contract price stays the same.
