As a graduate of our Bachelor's degree program in Chemistry (formerly Applied Chemistry), you will work on groundbreaking questions and find solutions to the problems of our time. The Bachelor's degree program in Chemistry offers a solid basic education in all areas and disciplines of chemistry. Inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry and organic chemistry are part of the program, as are physical chemistry and biochemistry. The theoretical subjects are optimally complemented by practical training in the laboratory. We place great value on interdisciplinary training - this is the only way to recognize and understand the connections between different phenomena.
We have supplemented chemical subjects with applied computer science, statistics and process engineering. This means that our graduates are perfectly prepared for the modern job market.
Environmental protection is a particular concern for us. The Chemistry degree program therefore includes lectures on the topics of green chemistry, renewable raw materials and recycling. Environmental issues are also brought to the forefront and discussed as often as possible.
Personal support in class and direct contact between teachers and students guarantee optimal preparation for the challenges of everyday working life.
