About the university
Brand University of Applied Sciences (BU) is a state-recognised private university of applied sciences located in the heart of Hamburg – the German capital of branding and advertising. BU is one of the very few universities worldwide that focuses entirely on brand thinking: an interdisciplinary approach that connects brand strategy, marketing, communication design and digital innovation.
Students learn in small seminar groups and work on real projects with international companies and agencies. Experienced professors and industry experts teach you how to design, communicate and manage brands across all touchpoints – from classic campaigns to digital products and experiences. English- and German-taught Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes prepare you for careers in brand management, marketing, communication design, UX/UI, digital design and creative business.
