The adult education center REGION Lüneburg is a municipal adult education institution of the district and the Hanseatic city of Lüneburg under the umbrella of the non-profit educational and cultural society Landkreis und Hansestadt Lüneburg mbH. In a team with over 50 employees and approx. 600 lecturers, we design a wide-ranging further education program with 75,000 teaching units annually. The adult education center sees itself as a lively educational place for agile learning.
As part of a regular succession, we would initially like to strengthen the integration program area as a management level.
Tasks:
- Further development of the integration program area with personnel, content-conceptual, economic and administrative responsibility
- Forward-looking strategic planning, calculation, organization, control and evaluation of the educational offer in the Hanseatic city and the district of Lüneburg, especially the further development of digital educational formats
- Target-oriented management of employees with regard to the success of the integration area and our adult education center REGION Lüneburg
- Acquisition and implementation of third-party funds (AEWB, commissioned measures by the BAMF, etc.)
- Acquisition and qualification of course leaders
- Evaluation to ensure the quality goals for customer satisfaction
- Participation in local and national networks
Requirements:
- Completed university degree (master's degree or equivalent) preferably in pedagogy, German as a foreign language / German as a second language, German studies, educational or cultural studies
- Expertise and professional experience in adult education as well as the legal fundamentals and legal bases
- Management experience, experience in change management / digital transformation
- Sound business knowledge
- Knowledge of the didactic and methodological concepts of language teaching and digital educational offers
- High social and intercultural competence
- Control competence, coordination and assertiveness
- Willingness to innovate and make decisions, ability to motivate, high level of commitment and resilience
- Confident handling of common software
