The job market is booming for application informatics graduates, because there is a shortage of IT specialists. Their task is mainly in the development of software. This is relevant in almost all industries - keyword "digitization". Whether centralized or distributed information systems, Internet of Things, genome analysis or applications in the fields of machine learning or data science - for scientific as well as increasingly also humanities applications, computer science is becoming increasingly important. The companies appreciate the advantages of our application-oriented and compact training, which is always based on practical and current topics and should create a solid basis in order to be able to work directly and productively in industrial projects.Учебный план программы обучения "Applied Computer Science"
In the field of applied computer science, knowledge and methods for the analysis and design of information systems are imparted. At the beginning of the study, students acquire basic knowledge in the fields of programming, databases, theoretical computer science, computer structures, machine-oriented programming and mathematics. Later, the program focuses on the areas of software engineering, distributed systems, architecture of information systems, IT security and intelligent systems. At the same time, students have the opportunity to specialize in a wide range of optional subjects and related elective courses. Projects include: Computer Graphics, Data Science, Enterprise Architecture Management, Internet of Things, Robot Vision, Learning Agents (Robot Control), Smart Systems Communication, Autonomous Driving or Human Computer Interaction. Social sciences complement the study.
