Описание программы обучения "Architecture"

The aim of the course is to enable students to act independently in the professional field of architecture through a practice-oriented, scientifically based and subject-specific basic training course. The students should acquire the prerequisites for exercising the profession according to the standards applicable in the Federal Republic of Germany and in the member states of the European Union. In addition, the students should have developed their own attitude towards architecture with critical expertise and technical knowledge as well as a sensitization for architectural design. You are thus able to expressly represent the complexity of the subject in a competent and responsible manner vis-à-vis society, the environment, culture and the principles inherent in the subject.

Architects are all-rounders - they are creative, but also service providers. In addition to a high technical understanding, your job also requires economic thinking. As an architect, you need architectural social knowledge, critical expertise and you must be familiar with building materials as well as with relevant standards and laws. Your future areas of responsibility include the creative, technical and economic planning of buildings of all kinds in residential construction, office and municipal construction, industrial and commercial buildings through to urban and regional planning.

The client relies on the know-how and experience of the architect. He will be advised by you and represented in all questions related to the planning and implementation of a building project. The monitoring of the project execution is also part of it.

After successfully completing your degree, many doors are open to you, for example in architecture offices, in special areas of construction, in the real estate and construction industry, in public administration or in architecture journalism.

After passing the final examination, the academic degree Bachelor of Arts (BA) is awarded. The job title of architect can be used after entry in the list of architects. This currently requires a completed master’s degree and a professional activity defined in more detail by the Chamber of Architects.

Стажировки и практика в программе обучения "Architecture"

The course includes a six-week basic internship. A maximum of six weeks of a relevant basic internship can be counted towards the basic internship. The basic internship must be completed in the lecture-free periods by the end of the third semester. The individual sections of the basic internship should last at least three weeks.

The 6th semester takes place as a practical semester at home or abroad.
