Architecture - Typology

Architectural and urban planning tasks are always confronted with political, cultural, technical, economic, social and ecological changes. In the internationally oriented, English-language master's program in Architecture Typology, you will learn how to combine these very different, sometimes contradictory requirements and goals in the design process into a holistic architectural solution. In addition, a special focus of the course is on the building typology. In order to be able to meet current challenges, building typologies are rethought and tools are developed that enable differentiated answers to complex questions in the respective context. This is done using established typological analysis and design methods as well as new, experimental, digital and speculative practices of typification.
