University of SiegenThe Faculty of Arts, with around 6,500 students, offers an appropriately broad range of research-based, innovative courses. Teaching and research - based on their independence from the dictation of immediate usability - programmatically reflect the increasing networking of science and society. Against this background, the cultural and social science principle of practical reflection is of particular importance: This is not about training in the sense of technical-practical competence acquisition, but rather about empirically and theoretically sound research and teaching, which are understood from the different disciplinary perspectives learns how the living environment is communicatively designed by those involved.
