Graduates of the B.Sc. Business Administration and Economics programme may work in the whole spectrum of business- and economics-related fields. You can work in various functions at German and multinational companies, for example in central corporate functions (e.g. Business Development or Business Intelligence), or in the areas of finance/management accounting, sales and marketing, and human resources. Audit firms, tax consultancies and management consultancies are also potential employers. Furthermore, the degree programme equips graduates with the necessary skills for executive roles in cultural institutions and in the public sector as well as in social and political organisations and various types of associations. The programme also provides specialised support and advice for working for a start-up companies or for setting up your own business.Ожидаемые результаты программы обучения "Business Administration and Economics"
When you graduate from this programme, you can go on to study one of two related master’s degrees offered by the Faculty of Business, Economics and Information Systems.Учебный план программы обучения "Business Administration and Economics"
The programme consists of three module groups:
- A) Introductory modules
- B) Elective modules
- C) Focus modules
A) The introductory modules provide you with the necessary foundations for advanced study, including methodology and principles of business administration, economics, law and information technology.
B) The various electives allow you to explore your personal areas of interest in greater depth. Specifically, you can select aspects of internationalisation (creation of an international profile), central aspects of corporate management (e.g. management, human resources, finance, management accounting) and key decision-making areas of economic policy.
C) You may additionally specialise in one of the following focus areas: Accounting, Finance and Taxation; Management, Innovation and Marketing; Economics; Information Systems; Computer Science and Mathematics; an additional foreign language; or enhance your general knowledge and hone your intercultural skills in the General Studies module.
