Методика оценки заявок
According to the regulations for the allocation of study places, each university can determine the criteria according to which the selection process for applicants is carried out within a framework stipulated by the higher education regulations
The admission quotas for hardship cases, foreigners, applicants for a second degree and applicants whose location is in the public interest are uniform for all courses. The remaining places are allocated:
- 10% after waiting
- 90% according to the selection process carried out by the university
The following selection criteria apply:
First, a weighted HZB overall grade is determined, which is determined as follows:
- Average grade of university entrance qualification = 50%
- Individual grades for university entrance qualification in mathematics [1] = 30%
- Individual grades for university entrance qualification in English [2] = 20%
[1] In the case of certificates of general higher education entrance qualification, the individual grades of the last 4 half-years, if shown, are taken into account, otherwise the individual grades shown in the HZB. If the HZB does not show any individual grades, the average grade of the HZB is evaluated.
[2] In the case of certificates of general higher education entrance qualification, the individual grades of the last 4 half-years are taken into account, if indicated, otherwise the individual grades shown in the HZB. If no individual grade is shown in the HZB, the average grade of the HZB will be assessed. If the subject English is not shown as a continued foreign language in the HZB, the individual grades count or the individual grades of the best graded foreign language shown in the HZB count.
Then a weighted grade is determined in the selection process as follows:
- the weighted HZB overall grade = 70%
- the result of the study ability test = 30%.
However, the result of the aptitude test is only taken into account if the test result is better than the average grade of the university entrance qualification. If the result of the test procedure is worse than the average grade of the university entrance qualification, the average grade of the university entrance qualification counts instead. The same applies if the result of the test procedure is not available.
The weighted grade can therefore never be worsened by the aptitude test.
It should be noted here that all selection criteria for the course apply to all applicants. The overall result of the selection criteria gives the grade that is taken into account in the admission process.
