In the Bachelor's programme in Business and Human Resource Education, occupational qualifications are conveyed that predominantly pertain to occupational fields in the areas of business and education in the educational system. Graduates will find occupational possibilities especially in the areas of personnel management, for example in the fields of operational activities and training, personnel and training management and administration of education in chambers and associations.
The degree "Bachelor of Arts (BA)" also qualifies students with corresponding performance to continue on with the Master's programme in Business and Human Resource Education (MEd). Successful completion of the Master's programme in Business and Human Resource Education qualifies graduates to continue on with teaching preparation for being able to teach at vocational schools.

The Bachelor's programme in Business and Human Resource Education is divided into a first section of studies (1st and 2nd semesters) and a second section of studies (3rd to 6th semester).
In the first section of studies students acquire knowledge of the basic issues and solutions of the economic sciences as well as several important neighbouring disciplines. In addition to knowledge in business and economics, students also acquire special knowledge in dealing with information and communication systems as well as in relevant mathematical and statistical methods. Students will also begin with their first module in the second teaching subject.
The second section of studies completes basic education in the economic sciences and deepens general economic-scientific knowledge. Knowledge in the second teaching subject is also deepened in this section. Furthermore students have to do an internship in a vocational school.

Georg-August-Universität GöttingenEconomics has always played a key role in research and teaching at the University of Göttingen, ever since it was founded in 1737.
Today, the Faculty of Business and Economics is one of the largest in Germany, with about 4,300 enrolled students, more than 30 professors and assistant professors, and 7 honorary professors. In addition, international researchers and scholars are regularly hosted by the Faculty. The Faculty also boasts a large research staff of around 180 research assistants and around 50 postdocs as well as about 50 people who provide administrative support.

- The points score is calculated by combining the overall score on the certificate of qualification for higher education with the scores for three subjects which are relevant for the desired programme. For every subject, the arithmetic average of the scores during the last four terms is calculated. For details see the sample calculation below.
