The bachelor's programme has the technical goal of providing students with a university education in mathematics. The students acquire a degree according to international standards, which qualifies them for demanding professional activities in the field of mathematics, in particular business mathematics. With a view to their later career, they should learn to a high degree how to structure problems in business, administration and financial services, to select and use suitable solution methods and to classify the results correctly.
Учебный план программы обучения "Business Mathematics"
Basic mathematical knowledge and specialist knowledge of business-mathematical topics are taught to the degree that graduates are able to find a solution to specific problems in their professional field and to acquire suitable special knowledge.
As usual in mathematical Degree Courses , solid training in the basic subjects of analysis, linear algebra and stochastics forms the foundation of the training in the first three semesters. The students then devote themselves to specializations in mathematics, particularly financial and insurance mathematics and mathematical modeling. Well-founded basic knowledge of computer science and economics is taught as part of the course as well as other key qualifications, such as self-organization, communication skills and social skills.
