The areas in which business specialists may pursue careers are very diverse, ranging from responsibilities in planning and analysis to roles in management and consulting. Graduates with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies are qualified to take on demanding tasks in industry, in trade and at service providers. During the degree program students develop a profile of transferable skills that includes:- academic knowledge of business and economics
- the ability to apply methods from business and economics in practice
- core skills such as language and computer skills, presentation abilities and team skills
Учебный план программы обучения "Business Studies"
The Bachelor’s degree program at the School of Business, Economics and Society in Nuremberg has a strong international focus and offers one of the widest ranges of subjects of any such program in German-speaking countries. The Bachelor’s degree is the first university degree. Graduates who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree may study for a further four semesters directly afterwards or after spending a period of time working to obtain a Master of Science degree. The program starts in the winter semester and usually lasts six semesters, during which students must acquire 180 ECTS credits.
The Bachelor’s degree program is divided into two parts. During the assessment phase in the first two semesters, students must complete compulsory courses in which they learn the basics of business and economics, including methods from statistics, mathematics and law.
During the remaining four semesters, students may choose advanced courses and specializations according to their interests.
At the end of the degree program students complete a Bachelor’s thesis.

Friedrich–Alexander University Erlangen–NürnbergFAU is a leading university in many research fields at both a national and international level. The Faculty of Business, Economics, and Law is home to the School of Law in Erlangen and the School of Business, Economics and Society in Nuremberg.
