The electromobility bachelor's degree is a university degree that uses a mathematical and scientific basis to convey a broad basic knowledge of electrotechnology and mechanical engineering, whereby electromobility is considered in the holistic system approach of complex electromobility concepts and implementations, taking sustainable mobility concepts into account. The students are given the opportunity to acquire detailed specialist knowledge through a diverse elective area. They are enabled to work independently according to scientific methods in order to be able to cope with the demanding and complex tasks in your future professional field of electromobility.

Engineers are currently working in all industrial and service sectors, in classic electrical engineering, in automotive engineering in mechanical engineering. Graduates can take on tasks in research and development as well as in production, sales and management. In addition, there is the opportunity to work as a self-employed person in the following areas: electrical engineering, measurement and sensor technology, information and communications technology, the automotive industry, traffic engineering, mechanical engineering, and the chemical industry.

The students acquire the skills to critically question opinions in their field, to solve pending problems in a scientifically structured manner, taking into account related disciplines, and to represent the solution they have developed. You are able to acquire new knowledge yourself.
Учебный план программы обучения "Electromobility"
This course is divided into compulsory modules and compulsory elective modules. In addition, participation in a research project and industrial internship as well as the bachelor's thesis are mandatory. The contents of the courses are directly related to current research topics. The bachelor's degree qualifies you to continue your studies in the subsequent (consecutive) four-semester master’s course. Its Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree is equivalent to the previously awarded academic degree of Diplomingenieur (Dipl.-Ing.).

Otto von Guericke University MagdeburgThe Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology engages in engineering, research, technical development and production technology for electrically controlled devices or processes. Information technology forms the interface to computer science. Research focuses, for example, on medical technology, in which new and innovative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for the medicine of the future are developed, and on the regenerative energies that provide international project opportunities. In teaching, the faculty offers electrical engineering courses as well as training courses in mechatronics, medical technology as well as system technology and technical cybernetics. The faculty offers a wide range of modern and interdisciplinary courses, some of which are offered in close cooperation with other faculties of the Otto von Guericke University. Through intensive networking with other disciplines, the faculty faces the challenges of a modern information society.
