Карьерные перспективы по завершению программы обучения "Electromobility and Electrical Engineering"

The automotive industry is one of the largest employers in Germany and with BMW and Audi two of the leading German automobile manufacturers are located in the greater Munich area. The "Electrical Engineering - Electromobility" bachelor's degree qualifies you to work directly at one of these automobile manufacturers or at one of the countless automobile suppliers and engineering service providers. Here you can gain a foothold in various fields of activity. These would be e.g. development, project planning and system design, production, assembly, commissioning and service, operation and maintenance, sales as well as monitoring and appraisal.

In particular, after completing your studies, you will be qualified to design electrical drive systems, design components for electrical drive trains, supervise test benches for the validation of electric vehicles, control automotive suppliers or look after customers as an employee of an automotive supplier.

Ожидаемые результаты программы обучения "Electromobility and Electrical Engineering"

In the "Electrical Engineering - Electromobility" course you will acquire all the skills you need to develop and work with electrical drive systems. They know all the basic principles of electrical engineering, can develop circuits, write software and work with them in all areas of vehicle electronics. In addition, you will qualify the "Vehicle Technology" and "Technical Mechanics" modules for cooperation in the often interdisciplinary teams in the automotive industry. In addition to purely technical skills, through projects and non-technical modules, you will also acquire the skills to select suitable working methods, to organize yourself and to work together successfully in teams; Competencies that are becoming increasingly important in today's world of work.

The "Electrical Engineering - Electromobility" course is a fully fledged training course, after which you are immediately able to work as an electrical engineer, but which also qualifies you for a subsequent master’s course. Thanks to the internships integrated in almost all modules, the course not only teaches you theoretical knowledge but also the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.

Стажировки и практика в программе обучения "Electromobility and Electrical Engineering"

The engineering internship in the following fifth semester, in which you can gain your first practical experience in the field of electromobility.

If you want to put what you have learned into practice immediately, you can put your skills to the test in various projects such as the Formula Student Racing Team or the Shell Eco Marathon and gain additional valuable experience.

Учебный план программы обучения "Electromobility and Electrical Engineering"

The "Electrical Engineering - Electromobility" course is a course in electrical engineering with a specialization in electrical drive technology. After the basic knowledge of mathematics and electrical engineering has been imparted in the first three semesters, the specialization begins in the fourth semester with the modules "Electrical Vehicle Drives 1" and "Power Electronics". This first specialization is an important prerequisite for the engineering internship in the following fifth semester, in which you can gain your first practical experience in the field of electromobility.

The specialization is then deepened in the sixth and seventh semesters. In addition to the two basic modules "Electrodynamics" and "In-depth programming practice", you have eight subject-specific modules that qualify you for work in the automotive environment. The so-called WP2 module can be freely selected by you. If you have a special interest in the field of autonomous systems or autonomous driving, we recommend choosing the elective module "Introduction to Machine Learning" or the "Project Autonomous Systems". For a further specialization in this area, we then offer the "Autonomous Systems" specialization in the "Electrical Engineering" master's degree. This gives you the opportunity to get in touch with future employers now.

If you want to put what you have learned into practice immediately, you can put your skills to the test in various projects such as the Formula Student Racing Team or the Shell Eco Marathon and gain additional valuable experience.

In 1971 the Oskar von Miller Polytechnic became the Munich University of Applied Sciences. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering was created in 1974 from three electrical engineering departments at this college. Due to the increasing number of students, the faculty had to be divided into two locations. The students mainly complete their basic studies in Infanteriestr. 14, the main course at Dachauer Str. 98b. With the construction of a new FHM building in Loth- / Heßstr. the faculty was reunited in March 2004.
