As an engineer in electromobility, with a focus on renewable energies, you will work on how energy systems can be designed and used intelligently and efficiently. You are developing a power supply that is environmentally friendly and works without problems. They use the latest technologies to technically improve the electric car so that it can be used cheaply, widely, reliably and safely.

    Information processing is very important at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Starting with hardware in electrical engineering, programming in computer science and e-commerce in business information technology, the faculty covers all aspects of information processing.

    The faculty's spectrum is supplemented by a didactic / pedagogical component through the two industrial teacher training courses in electrical engineering / physics PLUS teaching position I and business informatics PLUS teaching position I.

    Another strength of the faculty is its international orientation. This is reflected in the English-language Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and electromobility and two international master's programs in mechatronics and electrical engineering.

    The applicant's position on a ranking list is determined from the application documents using the following procedure: Calculation of a weighted overall grade using the formula
    [(Average grade for university entrance qualification) + (grades in German, mathematics * 2 and advanced modern foreign language) / 4] / 2

    If there are more applicants than places, 90% of the places will be awarded through the selection process (best overall grade) and 10% of the places after waiting time.

    OVERALL GRADE IMPROVEMENTS

    This overall grade can improve if one or more of the following qualifications can be demonstrated:

    • Completed vocational training in the field of mechatronics, energy and electrical professions, machine and vehicle technology as well as computer science or information and communication technology: 0.3
    • Employment in the training occupation of at least 1 year: 0.1. This bonus is limited to 0.2 for 2 years of professional experience.

    Extracurricular achievements, practical activities and recognized previous experience : 0.1 per qualification, a maximum of 2 qualifications can be taken into account:

    • Successful participation in programming competitions
