Ожидаемые результаты программы обучения "Energy and Automation Systems"

The objectives of the course are based on the requirements for the professional work of the graduates. The students should be able to solve engineering tasks in the field of automation and electrical energy technology.

The subject areas "Automation Technology" and "Electrical Energy Technology" are fundamental pillars of electrical engineering. The merging of these two subject areas in a master’s degree is obvious because of their relationship and is intended to emphasize the content-related and methodological cross-references in the training. The increasingly necessary thinking in holistic systems should also be conveyed more strongly in the course of study and is also reflected in the name of the master’s degree in Energy and Automation Systems. The master’s degree in energy and automation systems is intended to impart the following specialist and job-related skills:

1. Conveying extensive and in-depth knowledge of energy systems, especially in the areas of electrical energy conversion, electrical drives, high-voltage technology and power electronics,

2. Conveying extensive and in-depth knowledge of automation systems, particularly in the areas of modeling, control and regulation of technical processes, process management and robotics,

3. Mediation of skills for solving specific problems in the above Areas based on sophisticated scientific methods,

4. Promotion of independent knowledge and skills acquisition through increased use of independent forms of learning,

5. Conveyance of key competencies and a holistic view beyond the purely technical aspects of the problem, e.g. by taking into account economic, legal and human-scientific aspects,

6. Promotion of national and international mobility through a suitable curricular organization.

Graduates should be enabled to work scientifically, to think in an interdisciplinary manner and to analyze technical issues holistically. More complex tasks in individual courses should encourage independent work and develop team skills.
